Anyone checked this out? $10/GB and they refund you for what you do not use. They have just announced a tablet only service.
Google's Project Fi combines Sprint, T-Mobile, and Wi-Fi into a virtual network with better coverage than any one of the three has individually, but it fails to become a broadly viable wireless carrier.
I wonder if this will work with the GOBI?

Here's a list of devices that we’ve verified will work with Project Fi:
- Nexus 7 - K009 (US LTE)
- Nexus 9 - 0P82300 (US LTE)
- iPad Air 2 - Model A1567
- iPad mini 4 - Model A1550
- Galaxy Tab S - Model SM-T807V
Data-only SIMs may work with devices that aren’t on our list. Devices need to be unlocked and work with T-Mobile (GSM radio). You can order a data-only SIM and test it out. However, we may not be able to help activate or troubleshoot these other devices.
So it may work with Gobi, but it seems for me the traffic price is too high.Last edited: Dec 16, 2015Azrial likes this. -
You get data for less then 10/GB, and get money back each month for unused data? -
If it takes off I am sure the price will go down.

When I was driving truck I was paying $10 gig, that's the average rate so its not bad. My bill was $50 a month or less.

yeah ... $10/gig was what i was charged by verizon a year ago .
one would think the price would be coming down to something more relatively reasonable .Last edited: Dec 19, 2015 -

The only way the price would go down is if someone else offered the same thing at a lower price.
Google Project FI?
