Google Earth appears to have stopped supporting the graphics hardware that is in my Mk 2 CF18. I get a message when I start the current version that the hardware is unsupported, and it tells me to try direct-X mode. When I do that I get the same message, plus one telling me to try OpenGL mode. That just repeats the cycle.

Anyone else noticed this? Bit annoying as I use google earth quite a bit.

    Craig.

I have tried both DirectX and OpenGL modes. They both come back saying the hardware is unsupported, and suggest I try the other mode to the one I've tried to start GE in. I've tried fully deleting the package and re-installing as well.

In some ways I am not at all surprised since my CF18 model is quite old now.

Time to update it to a nice CF19 perhaps. Still hanging out to get a Toughpad though - they're apparently for sale in Australia now but big price.
