    Hi all..
    Got a quick question;
    I just got a OEM GPS kit for my CF-18.
    and was wondering whats the best software to use.

    Reading the other post, that seems to answer the getting from A to B program as far as GPS goes.

    If you want GPS software that loads maps and can link to a GPS receiver to show where you are, and of course to track your journey, then Memory Map is a good choice.

    Another alternative for those in Europe is Quo V2 ( www.mapyx.com).

    Hey guys i tried some of that software but the GPS aint locking on. any ideas??
    Think the antenna might be faulty..

    What com ports are showing now?
    Download and run GPS info
    http://www.usglobalsat.com/downloads/GPSinfo.zip
    Baud rate should be 4800 , and if you have several com ports ,don't try using com 1 as com 1 is the legacy 9 pin serial port on the toughbook

    Hey Alex thanks for the help. Can get a fix when i put my hand under the GPS antenna. But it seems the antenna is faulty, was chatting to a friend and he says the antenna is goosed. Do you know anywhere I can get my hands on one.
