    Green power indicator light

    On the Y7 the power switch glows green when the computer is turned on. Is thesr a way to turn this off? It's very distracting when I'm typing in a dark room.

    I don't know if you can turn it off but in a pinch, a piece of electrical tape over the switch will take care of it. :D

    Ditto on the black tape.

    Works equally as well for the check engine light in your car, or the blinking VCR clock etc.
