Looking to gauge interest in a possible group buy for used docks to mount your CF-28 in a vehicle. MIGHT have a line on several dozen (or more) and will be investigating this weekend. Not sure but believe these may be Panasonic brand, probably all pulled from police trade-ins, well used, without keys or any cabling. No real idea on price but would have to be under $50 to interest me.

Please chime in this thread if you would be likely to go for something like this.

I'm new to this forum so mods please assist if this is in the wrong place. Hope I have not bent any rules asking about interest in a possible group buy.

    Thanks!

I might be interested depending on the cost and per unit shiping. I have a lead on some aftermarket ones, but shipping is the expensive part (~$40/unit due to weight). I can get the docks for ~$25 each, but like I said, with shipping, iy can get expensive, although I guess overall, that's not terrible. I know that, as aftermarket type, they are considerable heavier than Panny docks. (from what I have heard and researched). They are complete except for the tri-pod or shaft from the platform to the floor. Everything else (Mount, Breakout box, wiring (Computer & Power), and cf-28 accessory rails) is there. The only mod would be to update the rails for a 29. Anyway, like I said, let me know!!
