    RECALL ANNOUNCEMENT: REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY PACK
    (CF-VZSU53AW) FOR USE WITH TOUGHBOOK TABLET – PC CF-H1,
    CF-H2, CF-U1

    Dear Panasonic Toughbook Customers,
    Thank you for using Panasonic Toughbook products.
    We recently became aware of the fact that, due to problems in manufacturing, battery
    packs included with our Tablet-PC CF-H2 series manufactured from June 2011 through
    May 2012 and those sold separately as accessories or as a result of servicing may heat
    up abnormally and ignite in rare instance.
    In North America, the battery packs (CF-VZSU53AW) were sold as accessories for the
    CF-U1, CF-H1, and CF-H2 Tablet-PC’s.
    To prevent accidents, Panasonic will replace the affected battery packs free of charge.
    Please check the model number and lot number of your Tablet-PC and battery pack.
    If you have an affected battery pack, turn your Tablet-PC off, remove the battery pack
    and contact us as indicated below.
    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and highly
    appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
