    Please Help:

I just installed an aftermarket GPS (Custom-Toughbook) into my CF-18 MK2 and went into BIOS to enable the GPS then when I exited it said “no operating system found”……
Can someone please guide me through a solution?

You need to go into the bios and see if the hdd is showing and check the boot order too

You need the GPS registry patch. It is on the Japan Panasonic site at

Official Support Download Center of the Drivers, Manuals and FAQs | TOUGHBOOK | TOUGHPAD | Panasonic Global Notebook PC

If that link gives trouble, go to
Official Support Download Center of the Drivers, Manuals and FAQs | TOUGHBOOK | TOUGHPAD | Panasonic Global Notebook PC

and search for CF-18F/G/H (Mk3) drivers and it shouild be near the bottom of the list.

It's funny that the seller doesn't provide this info in his spec sheet...

Don't know a thing about your system but on one of mine the GPS software was set to 9600 and it took me about 3 days to spot that I could scroll up (4800 choice wasn't visible) as well as down... doh.

Use the U. center if ou do have a ublox module. open the program and on the task bar above look for view. Scroll down and you will find out how to change it baudrate. Its been 2 years now since I've play with it. But it there.

You need the programming software for your GPS engine, go to the manufactures website they should have it as a download.
