good evening guys
I was wondering if anyone could advise me , I have a cf-19 toughbook which I use for work and has my work packages on . I wanted to copy them on to my laptop so my son (apprentice) could use them at night , I took it to the local computer shop as I am a cave man on this sort of stuff , when I returned he told me that the hard drive was encrypted and it couldn't be done to only then try and sell me a new toughbook , does this sound about right or is he trying it on
Thanks

The drive encryption is tied to the laptop via the BIOS.
I think you should be able to copy individual files to a usb stick to share.
Copying or cloning the entire drive will not work.JJ20016 likes this. -
I'm with Shawn. We deal with this issue often at work. copying to a USB stick or external HDD is the way to go.
