Has anyone owned both the CF-30 mk2 and mk3?

Is there much performance difference between the two? I see the FSB is faster and the cache is larger on the mk3 cpu. But is it a difference you can really feel?

Also are there any negatives to the mk3 or positives to the mk2 that would suggest you choose one over the other?

Thanks for any and all input.

The CF-30 MK3 with the American Megatrends bios seems to hang at boot. I don’t know why...it make the whole unit seem slow.

The MK2 is my favorite. I have all three MK's. I do wish the MK2's had the Concealed mode.

IIRC....forum member TOYO had both MK's. His comments in previous threads suggested a similar experience to that of I58SR. :(

After a Bios up-grade the tables turned in favour of the MK3...the issue being, there isn't an up-grade available on the Panasonic driver site (unless someone knows different) so it's an authorised service centre job.....unless someone knows different.
