I just scooped up a previous version Havis Ledco dock and I know it will work, and i will make it work, but I have a couple questions I was hoping someone could answer for me.

    My web273 is....experienced, and for $24, I couldn't resist picking up a newer dock for my new(er) CF30.

What power connector is it? (I have read that it is not the same as the panny web273 dock).

Easy way to replace the key? I don't think this one comes with it. I have a feeling I'll end up replacing the whole lock cylinder, anyway.

The one I purchased has dual pass throughs that I'll be removing since my 30 is a single and I don't use it anyway.

    Thanks, guys!

No idea. I spent a solid 20 minutes trying to google for one and can't seem to find it. all I can find is the model number for the newest dock and a list of 500ish "discontinued" items that I didn't have time to thumb through.

I zoomed all over the ebay listing as well as the other similar docks they have listed, and can't seem to find an exact model number.

I sudenly have a loooooot to do. I'll have to get back to this later.

    Thanks, ttys!

    This has some answers. http://www.havis.com/web_docs/DS-PAN-111-Series_RD_5-10.pdf
It appears a standard CF29-CF30 power supply will work.

The CF-WE273 uses the older CF27-CF28 style power supply.

If you can solder, you could swap the the input connector on the docks.
What is the amperage of your CF 273 power supply?

Look for a coke machine lock on ebray. There is a hardened roll pin that you must drift out of the hole in the dock lock Doc. Then some Joe Magee engineering with a small vice and hand file.
The pin may be in a blind hole...IOW visible from bottom only. I forget that part....where's my dock???????????

    If i can solder..... :D
I just checked it. It's a 15/40. Guess it's time to upgrade that, too! I have been using it for 5 years or more, and the only thing I use the dock for is sound and power.

I guess I misunderstood what Havis meant when they said it wasn't the same as the panny charger; I guess they meant pc vs dock dc jacks.

"with a small vice and hand file"

    hmmm ...
that certainly conjures up a bizarre image ...
especially in combination with a duck .

if you can get the cylinder assembly out , you should be able to get a locksmith to re-pin and/or make a key for it .
there may even be one in his "hell box" that you can get for cheap .

The docking station you have is a power supply for the CF-30, just tap into to the car 12v line.
No need for a power converter. Just slid it in and the dock will charge the internal batteries then continue to power computer.

I will look for the web sit I found replacement keys. There is (if I remember correctly) 2 different keys made for this particular docking stations and only one will work. The key itself was cheap but there was a $20 minimum for the order. So get plenty as well as any other dock stand parts you might need. I found all my dock stand parts on eBay and ended up welding my floor bolt on peace. I love my set up. it is bullet proof and very secure. it would take a thief a lot of effort to get my cf-30 out.

    Found it..

This is the DS-pan-102 key. same as the description in this link DS APP-102 or DS-Pan 300 all fit this dock.

You do NOT want the key for the DC-PAN-400. (the newer style) this is the wrong key.

If your CF-30 is a single pass through and the dock is a dual pass through. You may have an issue docking. The single might get in the way when docking, but this is correctable but very difficult to add or remove the passthrough set up in the dock. I know I added a single pass through in mine.
I could tell more but I docked my cf-30 in my truckster today and left it there, so I can't peek in the back dock to see just how much might conflict with the difference. But there is a difference. and the dock needs to be configured correctly even if you don't plan to use the pass through. Just so it will latch in one might have to remove one or both of the brass colored antenna connectors.

    Hope this helps.

This key is marked "do not dulicate". This key is made simpler to coke machines and the such but is totally different in it configuration. Many of these docks were set up for law informent. So looking for a key is difficult. People think your trying to seel a computer from a cop.
