Speaker works but headphones do not. Anyone know what I should look for? Does the speaker use the same driver as he headphones?

I would think they use the same driver, I dont believe I've ever had one of those not work, speaker yes, but jack no. Anyone else have any advice on this?

I dont see any reason one would work without the other because they should use the same sound driver. I would suspect a hardware problem?

It maybe dirty and it causes of no right contact to its terminal sometimes corrosion to the terminal. Try to clean it first and when you hook it up again, wigle it a bit, twice at least. Again, make sure your headphone is working, just a reminder, you know!

Supposedly there is a micro switch that tells it that it is using the jack and not the speaker.... Try cleaning the jack well.... Compressed air.... Take it apart?

Haven't taken it apart yet, but plugged in and out several times a set of working headphones. Also wiggled it. When plugging headphones in it switches the speaker off, thats why I was wondering if another driver was used for the headphones. Even if I take it apart I have no way of testing a headphone jack. Oh well. Just thought there might be an easy fix that someone was familiar with. thanx anyway
