Heartland orders

Just an FYI that I've been placing TONS of orders lately to heartland so just PM me if you guys need anything and don't wanna pay tons of money for shipping. They don't use DHL anymore. They use Fedex and ground shipping is usually $25 and overnight is $30.

I just placed an order today so as of now I have nothing more to get but I can forsee needing to place another order within the next month so just PM me and let me know.

Would you forward stuff to the UK? I've been after the fingerprint kit and a couple of other bits for my CF-19 (I can get the part numbers). Last time I ordered from Heartland international shipping was through the roof! I paid an arm and a leg for a couple of rubber doors (for USB and power ports) and a plastic antenna cover for the screen.

I need a rubber door for the power port and if they get realistic on the illuminated chiclet keyboard, I would get one of those also. The last price I had for one was over $200.00 and that just won't cut it.

 

Iceman... Which model? CF-19? I may have a power cover if it is the same as the CF-18... Their pricing on keyboards is astronomical!

That would be the CF-30 cover. The thing just snapped right off on me. To be fair, I forgot to close it when I was putting it in an aluminum case.

 

I would go for that if it was the one for the 30. The one for the 29 works but isn't correct. I know, picky, picky!
I have had a lot going on, my sister passed away suddenly last year, some huge problems developed with my job and thanks to the Bamster my firearms business has been on the busy side. Just finished my ATF audit two weeks ago. (Sigh.)
I have been constantly monitoring posts, just have not had any thing to add
It feels good to pay some attention to my Toughbook.

Heartland is heartless. With freight a CF-28 battery cost $336.00. The CEO and his cronies are probably really cleaning up before the "Collapse". No money for a website. It's been since I was in Alaska and that was two years ago at least. I wrote them a scathing email about their pricing. Won't do any good, like writing to the banks. What a joke! Spark

 

When a company has a lot of government customers, insanely high prices are the natural evolution. They are used to people that just need a part and don't care what it costs, because it is not their money.

If you have enough customers like that, why would you care about any other kind?

 

OKAY EVERYONE!!! I have received all the parts today (those of you who ordered from me (Alex, Glen, Jonathan, Ernest). I have packaged them up and they will go out tomorrow as the mail guy has already come today.

I need a toughbook logo for my cf 29 since mine is off lease

 

I could do with a logo too! - any idea how much they are? my lid is a little scratched where the old logo was peeled off the ebay guy doesnt ship to the uk

oh, and a new shiny Panasonic logo as mine has a small dent in it

 

I would also like to see about getting a pair of the rubber buffers that keep the lid from rattling, the number appears to be DFHM0352ZA,

Many thanks for quick delivery to the UK. I now have a fully shipshape CF-19 with added fingerprint reader. I will try and post photographs later, though it has to be said Zippy-Man's guide was spot-on, my pictures will only be for added geek factor.

How much for the plastic stylus for CF-18/19? Looking for the touchscreen type, not the special digitizer model.

 

I got some digitizer ones only... the plastic ones would probably cost like $30 from heartland. I'll ship you a digitizer one for $15. It will fit in the same way as a normal one would.

Man... That is being very generous! Those digitizer pens go for $50+ on ebay... And Heartland!

 

i'll tell you a little secret - just search with "wacom mp200" on ebay.
