Just received it from ebay.
It's a 12" screen model so that makes it a 166MHz MK3 automatically, correct?
Reason I ask is my other two MK3's have FDD, HDD, or CD as boot options in the BIOS.
This one has only FDD and HDD. I've tried putting a CD in there but it still doesn't show in the BIOS.
I also booted off my CF-25 System Update floppy and dried both "J" and "E" programs but both say my system is not supported.
The model number is CF-25FJF4CAM. I can't seem to find any info on it.l
Please do help!

Well, I gutted the laptop and noticed the motherboard doesn't look like my other MK3's... I guessing it's the MK2. I didn't realize the MK2 was available with a 12" screen.
I swapped the 12" screen onto my MK3 that had a cracked one. Despite the video cable being too short (had to unwind it one turn) everything bolted up OK.
I bought this one hoping to replace my current MK3 that had a broken screen and a supervisor password. At least I covered one of these problems... still have to get a non password protected motherboard :/ -

Yes, it is a Mk2 - and I think it had the P150 CPU instead of the P166. But it is very amenable to overclocking and was probably just a P166 in disguise.

Just to clarify - the remark about overclocking was tongue in cheek

Google is your friend, I've documented this elsewhere and you will find it if you try. Cheers.

I've heard of that program but never tried it. Thanks for the info!

Remember guys, the quickest way to bring the wrath of the moderator gods down upon you is to discuss any procedures to bypass passwords....BIG no-no! Take it private or don't discuss at all.

Thank you. I had genuinely skimmed the rules but somehow missed the mention of password bypass mechanisms (weird, since it's at the top...). Post edited to comply.
