    Hi!

    Just spotted something I could do with on eBay.com.
    Basically I need somebody to purchase item on my behalf and then ship to me in the UK via the most economical way so its cost effective!
    You will need to have Paypal so I can send the funds necessary upfront!
    If you can help, then please PM me!

    Thanks!

    Simply pay for it and have it sent over right? I just bought my TB from the states (ebay.com) and it was very straightforward into Spain, of course you have Paypal so go for it, get the seller to mark the item as 'used' or a 'gift' and you should be laughing.

    That would be great in an ideal world!
    Unfortunately it doesen't look like the seller will send internationally, which is his right!

    Perhaps the seller will only send to the US, you can't even bid on these.
    Btw. Used will not say you don't pay import duty, it is the value that counts, so try to keep it as low as possible.

    Yeah, the yanks have a tendency to do that. There are a bunch of part i wanted to buy but couldn't since they wont ship outside the US.

    Its a conspiracy, I say! They want to keep all the parts in the States. Then when we're are desperate and will pay anything for the parts. Then they'll sell.

    *Put's on tinfoil hat* The CIA are watching. I'm probably on a terrorist list because of this comment.

    No conspiracy, just too lazy (or incompetent)to take the extra 5 minutes to fill out the customs form for an international package.

    About 70% of my fleabay sales is overseas and I keep about 2 dozen of these forms at home all filled out so it takes me no time to fill out the ship to address... one minute tops :D . I guess many sellers are looking for that fast buck only.

    And I bet you sell more than the "Fast Buck Merchants" do, check this one;

    Used yellow tab battery $40.00, International shipping $113.00. :eek:

    Now, do you think Mr Sell'em by the boat load sells ten a day or one every twenty years. :D :D

    Blair... If it is under 13oz and can be shipped from your home mailbox... No customs form is needed. I've done that for years without a hitch... The USPS treats it as a letter.
