I'm looking to up grade from my CF-29, MK 3 to a CF-30 however I know nothing about the CF-30. I would like touch screen, internal wifi, CD/DVD, and the ability to upgrade the ram.

    Thanks

    Dan

Well the good news is that all CF30 can upgrade the RAM as they have two internal slots, instead of the one slot and soldered internal memory that was found on older models. All except the federal models have Wi-Fi built in. The CD/ DVD is in a removable media bay, similar to the 29, but not interchangable.

Check this out the CF30 ToughWiki for more info on the models. Hope this helps.

I just swapped from using my cf-29 Mk3to a cf-30 Mk1 for daily use and really like it. Performance is night and day difference.

Also look into adding a SSD + Windows 7 when you do get a CF-30 . My 30 MK1 is fast.
