    Greetings,

I am looking for some help with a GOBI module in a CF-30FADAQAM. From my understanding this is a GOBI 1000.

I am attempting to use the GOBI device with a GSM provider in Afghanistan. I have installed the Panasonic CSA in order to get the drivers to install, and the card is recognized in the windows device manager - Qualcomm HS-USB Mobile Broadband Device 250D (under network adapters), and associated Diagnostics and NMEA ports (under ports). My problem lies in getting any connection management software to recognize the device. So far I have attempted IQonn and MWconn without success - neither detect the device, although both are supposedly compatible with GOBI 1000.

I'm fairly stumped at this point and not sure what to do or try next. Any ideas?

I used the AT&T connection utility that came with the Gobi 1000 configured one of the Canadian service providers and away I went. It prompted me that I was about to connect to a roaming network but I just clicked ok and ignored it. I have never incurred any roaming charges so I take it it means nothing. It is however a little annoying so I may give this Sierra One Click Internet a try if you say it works with Gobi 1000.
