Where I work has ONE CF-52, powers on and you can use VGA out to monitor but the LCD on the unit is lit and grey with vertical lines.
I'm thinking the LCD is shot, any ideas?

    Model Number:...CF-52SLGBD1M
    Status:...DISCONTINUED
    MSRP:...$2,979
Description: Win7, Intel Core i5-2540M 2.60GHz, vPro, 15.4" WUXGA, 320GB(7200rpm), 4GB, Intel WiFi a/b/g/n, TPM, Bluetooth, ATI Discrete Graphics, Multi-drive, Toughbook Preferred

This tells me it is WUXGA and they have CCFL tubes for backlights.
You can't use just any used replacement panel either..For some reason a panel with the same number from a Dell will NOT work. I think that's a Dell issue and not a Panasonic issue.

It's either the LCD or possibly the cable from the motherboard to the panel.

Do you know if these are left on all the time. Is the lid opened and closed a lot. Do you know how many hours is on the CF-52 (F2 on boot) , bottom of first BIOS screen.
