Got a CF-29, one of the Ebay SBC units. Touchscreen works fine but touch screen does need to be calibrated once in a while so the stylus can easily hit a small point on the screen.

I've already used the touch screen calibration program in the past - touched the red + figure to send it to 9 different points on the screen. I do that and I'm good to go for the next month or so.

Now, for some reason, I can't get the calibration program to work. It opens, I get to the first red + in the uppper lefthand corner and nothing, no amont of hitting the + with the stylus will get the red + to move.

Do I really need use the restore discs just to get this one program to work again??

Touch screen still works fine, calibration is just a tiny bit off.

    Any alternative suggestions??

I had the same issue and I solved it by resting the stylus on the crosshair for a couple of seconds and then it works. I was hitting/clicking until I was red in the face.
    Hope this works

That did it! Leaving the stylus on the crosshair for a few seconds allowed for the calibration to kick in - I don't know why the delay, but hey, it works now. Appreciate the help!

This calibration is alittle more fine tuning if you want to try it....

In your Control Panel open up Tablet & Pen.
    Click on Reset
Perform Calibration. You should get 16 points with black X's. This is alot more precise. Don't forget to hit the Reset before you do it. Otherwise you won't get all 16 points.

Thanks Toyo, but where the heck is "tablet & Pen" in the Control Panel? I search (using XP) and not run across it yet.

I'm not able to find it either, Kevin. It's perhaps with the CF-19 which I think is a tablet PC............
