So i got myself a CF-33 and i am having some severe battery drain while the device is off. Has anyone else experienced this happening with their 33? I did some searching with no luck, while it is completely shut off i am draining approximately 20% overnight from one battery. I tried turning off rapid startup and it didnt seem to help at all. unit has approximately 20k hours on it and the batteries are pretty much shot. Before i decide whether to send this unit back and get another one i was hoping to get someone elses insight.

    Thanks in advance,
    Hunter

I don't have a 33, but I'd suggest getting one of various battery tools available (like BatteryBar) and checking to see how bad the batteries are. You could also take the batteries completely out overnight and see if you get the same result. If you do, it's not a drain, but batteries on their deathbed.

so, i pulled the batteries out and switched their spot in the unit, it drains the #1 battery and the #2 battery is still 100% the next morning. i did consider just leaving them out overnight though

My CF-33 doesn't drain the batteries at all when turned off.
