You guys have helped me tons on this forum just lurking, from buying my first CF-18, then turning me on to Linux with a dual boot, and learning about the power cycle when my battery dies, and everything else I've looked for and this forum has come through on and become an invaluable resource.

    So thank you very much.

But I have one question that I need some confirmation on before I do anything else.

I need a new I/O PCB board for my CF-18. The little card that has the secondary video out and the adaptor plug. The "DC in" pin broke loose, and started to not charge the battery. I checked the plug to see if it's getting juice, and it's not the adapter, it's the pin it's self.

Is the Part Number for this:
    DL3U31471CAA

    Main Block Unit:
    E3

Or am I looking at the service manual wrong?

Edit: Also, should I just call up Panasonic for the new part?

Heh, worst case scenario with the new jack topcop, I'd just need to replace the board anyways, I'll do that.

30 bucks shipping for one part seems a bit excessive. I'll call Heartland and Panasonic monday just to confirm costs and availability. But I'll probably end up doing the new jack. I'm cheap, but I love my toughbook too much to get rid of it.

Thanks a ton for the help though Rob, that was fast.
