    Hi all,

We have two CF-19's at work one is almost wornout, the other we recently got as a used unit.

The used unit is the model number in the title.

This used unit has had win 7 ultimate installed and all seems to work just fine, but the touch screen needs to be calibrated,(is about an inch off) which I can do easily on our original unit running XP, but I cannot even find the cali tool on the win 7 unit?

    I looked in-

    Hardware and sound-

but cannot find tablet pc settings or calibrate the screen for touch input

I looked in Device manager, and under human interfaces can see 'Fujitsu Touch panel (USB)'

But dont really know what I am doing.....

Obviously I dont know much about computers, I fix ATV's not PC's

Also looking at purchasing one new CF-19 for our Ford dealership any comments on this one on ebay?

    Thanks

    Jared

Looking at my CF-30 it can be found at START / CONTROL PANNEL / TABLET PC SETTING. When you got this 19 did it have W7 on it or did you put it on. Why I ask is to run W7 on a CF-19MK1 you must update the BIOS . Sounds to me like you are having a few driver problems.

You can get all the drivers here Panasonic Toughbook Computer Support Downloads . Look under CF-19MK1 Vista upgrade

Have had a look there today in control panel, even searched the word tablet in the control panel and came up with nothing.
I downloaded some win 7 drivers from a link in another post here, when I went to install them got the 'already installed' notice pop up, reinstalled anyway but no different.

Did you mean talk to Rob re my screen or re new laptop?

    thanks.

    From "http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/cgi-bin/itn/toughbook/dl01.cgi"

Please record the bios and ec number if you do this for other users. There are two bios and ec for CF-19....this is a quote from the instruction manual from the jp site. Note the ..70207.exe.

Why? Because W7 is looking for a tablet as does Vista. Your posts indicate you have a Touchscreen bios.

    Hope this helps.

Touchscreen and Tablet are NOT the same thing........Important to remind people of this. Tablet is a digitizer and requires a capacitive stylus. Touchscreen will work with a finger. Preferably your own finger.
