I have seen very few as in "no" dual pass-throughs on CF-29 until today. I think they wired it wrong.
If you follow the logic of the single passthrough it takes a wire from the bottom of the mobo and brings it to the top.
Is the dual passthrough the same? Or are the top two one circuit and the bottom two another?
If all else fails I will wire direct to the wireless card and ignore the passthrough and tape off the WWAN. Unit is "wireless ready". (No sled)
CF-29HNLGKBM. GPS is pulled. Making it a HNLGXBM. (edit)
Thanks,
Jeff...can't find my ohmmeter...yet![]()

So much for logic.
In this case the connectors above the mobo are WWAN.
Those below are WLAN.
Found the ohmmeter, pulled the pcb and traced it that way.
Worth a double post since I may add film later.
Used the digi camera to blow the image up to visible size.
Thanks..post closed if you want. -
Your ohm meter as in ONE????
Hmm I am not sure if I am more of an electrician or more obsessive..
I own 7 that I can think of right now...
Fluke in the office workroom
Radio shack in the office workroom
Radio shack analog in the shed
Harbor Freight clamp on in the toolbag at work
Milwaukee in the toolbox at work
Elna clamp on in the toolbox at work
Harbor Freight 4.99 special here in the living room
I think compulsive obsessive is the winner.. -
Well I paid $6.95 for mine. There's one in the truck too.
...continuity is everything...
And forget the pictures.....automodded again.
Pictures posted toughbooktalk under CF-29. (edit)
Thanks,
Jeff
