I dont now if it worth the cost,115$ in Sweden to get 256mb more ram.

Do i have to upgrade Bios?I have 512 now.And if that the case, how do i

you should goto crucial site, to see how much ram you can put in your system.

768 sounds a number in between what you can have.

First... PLEASE don't listen to anyone who comments that doesn't show they own a Toughbook in their siggy. There are some that drop by here with their Dulls and Gutways and think they know about Toughbook.... They have no clue about Toughbooks and how different they are. Steer clear of their advice and comments

Panny states a 512MB max with 256MB being soldered onto the mobo already. BUT... Most have success with the 512MB stick to make 768 total.

Stick with the RAM types that have been posted. Check the stckies.

It is easy to update your BIOS is needed. Log into Panasonic's site and download the latest... IF you need it. IF you do not have the latest for your model there will be a download for you to burn to a 1.44MB disk. You will then boot to that disk while having a fully charged battery AND the AC adapter pluged in. Then you will type in BIOSUP and it will guide you through the process.
