The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Pleaseeee!!! I lost my disk that came with my toughbook and I need to reset it to original factory due to it wigging out on me. I will buy it!

    You need to contact Panasonic. Recovery discs are OEM software and cannot legally be shared.

    Please do not bring this up again, sorry.

    If the C:\I386 folder still exists on the notebook you can use nLite to create your own legal disc. Additionally, if you have the COA sticker on the bottom of the notebook you can borrow a friend's XP disc to use your key.

    Drivers and whatnot can be found online for free, and you are more than welcome to create a new thread about that.

    Cross posting is not allowed on these forums. I deleted the other thread, which that thread even said that it is illegal to acquire the recovery CDs from someone other than Panasonic. Do not bring this up again, or you will receive an infraction per forum rules.
