Hey, all. I know we all like our touchscreens and they are definitely convenient, but sometimes I still use a mouse for certain things. A while back I realized that the mini wireless USB dongle for the Logitech mice fits into the rear USB port on the left side and still allows the door to close without getting in the way at all. It is really convenient and I know I will never lose it, and all I have to do it turn the mouse on and go!

Ah lucky you
It won't fit that way on CF-52 - there is no place between the cover and the port

This works on CF-30 too. Also, I used to use electrical tape to make a pull tab and put the nano receiver in the deeply recessed USB port on the side of the CF-29, then close the rubber flap. -
I bought a Bluetooth mouse today. Even better

I have the EXACT same "unified receiver" by Logitech... I keep it in my dock bay if I can, but if I take my mouse with me, it sticks out and the port cover is ALWAYS open
I hate that the 19 only has 2 USB ports too!

I just ordered 2x Mogo PC-Card, and 1x Mogo ExpressCard a week ago - waiting to arrive.
Unfortunately the pc-card one I bought & returned (dead battery), sticks out a bit too much for the door to close (CF-19). And the fact it doesn't have scroll/third button, is a bit annoying. But the expresscard one (presenter version + laser pointer) should be really useful. -
I don't get why people use a mouse with a laptop in general but on the Toughbook you (usually) have a touchscreen too!
Whassup with that? -
Rick, when you are in front of your laptop 12+ hours a day a mouse is NEEDED...
You can drive across the entire country with no cruise control either, but ultimately, cruise is nice and is coming standard these days
Mice are a dime a dozen
I've had my CF-31 like this for a while, just thought I'd share (pic attached)
