    Anyone made to swap from IDE to SATA in a CF-29? If so, how did it turn out? Has anyone used the adapter below??

    On the CF-29 we had to take out about 50% of the foam on each end to get the sata adapter in , their is even less room in the CF-18 caddy so I would say no . The adapter is about a little better than a 1/2 inch thick. If it does don't drop your 18 because your HDD will be toast. :eek:
