    It's designed to communicate with aircraft transponders. It has/had a communication device not a WWAN card. Although by the fleabay photos it's antenna is in the same location. Different frequency though.

    Very interesting,of the 3 one has been used hard but the other 2 are in good shape. My Dad was on the CL-46 during WW2.

    They don't have a sled and the Toughbook logo is missing,looks like it never was applied,I would grade them a 3,5,8 in condition. Cheap as dirt and lots of parts. :D
