Does anyone have a 13.3" XGA Touch Screen for sale? I would prefer the entire lid to ensure a good seal.

    anyone, anyone, Beuler, Beuler...

Maybe I should clarify...Im looking for a Pan. 13.3" XGA Touch Screen.

Oops! A 13 ft. touch screen would be impressive.

That would get tiring trying to reach icons at the top... You'd have to operate it with a tennisball, and throwing it at the screen.

Oh ya! The unit is a 28s. Its the unit in my sig. below. The model config. is modified based on the current changes but it was 28s3qgbdm. Right now it has a 12" touchscreen from a 28pb. I swapped the screens the other day. I love the touchscreen but the 1" difference is driving me nuts. I looked at the 13.3 non-touch to see if i could transfer the touch hardware but it looks like no dice, besides the 13.3 dos'nt have a screen protector.

You know, Panasonic demo-ed a 12.6 FOOT Plasma Screen at CES last week. :swoon: I wonder how hard it WOULD BE to make it touch-screen... Talk about immersing yourself in your work.

While on a job in Seattle I met a guy doing audio engineering for one of Gates homes. So the story goes...some of the interior walls were some sort of giant lcd screens with rotating images of paintings and such. Maybe a 13ft touch screen isn't that far fetched... Maybe Ol Bill is checking his email with a tennis ball! LOL!

Thanks Toughbook, I will check with Gravitar

Someone is dumping a load of 800mhz models on e-bay. 28PC models...13.3 Touch. With so many of them, you may be able to pick one up for next to nothing...ok, ok, pretty cheap anyway.

If you're going to spend $$$, may as well pick up some extra parts all in 1 shot.

Thats the way I usually think anyway, but that could be the main reason why I end up with so much junk, eh, fine spare equipment laying around...

What problem did you run into? you should be able to add the touch panel and controller board to a non-touch screen.

TB, what do you make of that lower-left corner thing on those e-bay 28's? Touch membrane delaminating?
