Do one or more of the techs on here know what signal the keyboard, rotate and etc. are sending from CF-18 and 19 front buttons. I'm on a mission trying to figure out using these buttons in Linux.I get no recognizable signals as yet with lsinput, dmesg and others.Model doesn't matter but just for continuity I am running Linux Mint Debian (rolling release) on CF-18PJQZEZBM and or CF-18NJHZBBM.FWIW much is "out there" on panel rotation on Wacom but very little on touchscreen running LBPS/2 Lifebook Touchscreen.Input appreciated. Thanks,Jeff

I have a cf-19, only light buttons are working. The other buttons don't work, I haven't found any ACPI hardware event associated with these buttons.
I don't know, maybe they are recognized only by panasonic software in windows.

That is probably the case as the XPP OS recognizes it. But some signal goes somewhere. On/on or On/off??? For instance for rotation....every time a signal is received from ??? rotate the screen 90 degrees. It has to go to the motherboard first.

Hmmm....Linux is seeing the light buttons...maybe it doesn't know it should be looking for rotate, keyboard etc. And that would be a driver? (or lack thereof)

Time to look in the schematics.

    Thanks,

    Jeff
