Hi, I have done this before but cannot remember the steps. I searched through the forums but could only find instructions for XP and i'm not sure it's entirely the same.
I don't have use the of the Floppy drive and remembered last time I copied the contents if the I386 folder to the hard drive then ran the setup file using a DOS boot I had on the hard drive.
Can someone help me out with specific instructions?

Use the instructions here, they apply to both OS:

You'll need to be able to attach your HDD to SOME machine with a floppy drive; you need the tools on the Windows XP Boot floppy to fdisk, create a partition, and format the drive.
Some versions had the sys.com executable; you can use that to make an already formatted disk bootable:
MS-DOS sys command help
Otherwise, when you format the HDD, you need to use the /s switch to make it bootable. Be sure you DO NOT create an NTFS partition or try to format it NTFS; make it a FAT32 partition, then format FAT32 from the command line.
You have to leave the HDD FAT32 until the install process is complete, or it will crash midway. Once the install is done and you have desktop, THEN you can convert the drive to NTFS as in the tutorial.
Good luck,
