    Long time no hear boys!

    I wanted to get your honest (brutal if necessary) feedback on my first YouTube video.. I know I am like 5 years behind the curve... oh well... and I know most of you can do this with your eyes closed while drinking... but I wanted to make it with the new user in mind on how to install a hard drive / caddy in their Panasonic Toughbook CF-30. And yes those are my hands, although my techs are the masters at this. 8)



    Please give me your feedback or tips to make our future videos better. Don't worry about hurting my feelings ;)

    That was actually very helpful for me. I was afraid the little plastic sleeve might have been ultrasonically welded shut rather than with adhesive and I was afraid of permanently mangling that delicate packaging. Kudos on a video well done!

    Thanks for all your comments and likes boys! I am honored to get that kind of feedback from this forum and am glad you liked the video... I will be making some more Toughbook CF-19, CF-30 and CF-31 instructional videos soon. Takes a lot of time though, with recording, post editing, adjustments, etc... but its cool to learn about video production / editing at the same time.

    I am glad you like it and that it helped you Pacobell... If I can save one cable / enclosure from being destroyed then it has been worthwhile ;)

    Hey Sadlmkr, long time no hear buddy, I used the Wiha precision phillips ESD, they are my favorite brand as well...

    yeah , i suppose it could/would ... but that is not the point here .

    nice job on the video .
    a background of a flat (reflectivity) light gray or slightly bluish gray will prevent "confusing" the camera exposure and give better flesh tones .

    Great job on the video! I always wondered what the proper way of disassembling those cages was, I always just tore them to shreds since the drives were going for degaussing....
