    There are Expresscards that are true parallel cards. If it is real cheap, it is a USB parallel card, and not a full parallel card. Read the specs carefully. The Star Tech EC1PECP provides a true parallel port. However, it only has Windows drivers AFAIK, no DOS drivers for really old equipment.
