Any body ever have problems with Intel wireless on CF-30 MK1. Mine keeps turning off, I downloaded the most up to date drivers for this and still have this problem. Is it better to use the windows wireless set up instead?

Buy turning off, do you mean that in order to access the internet you need to enable the wireless software switch and switch it back on, or is it disconecting?

I take it you are running xp sp3 ,latest intel proset utility and wi-fi drivers

It seems to be working now, I let windows manage the intel wireless. The intel wireless feature would disconnect completely. I dont have sp3 only sp2. I did install the newest updated drivers for the intel proset, but I had this problem before the updates.

But as of now, it seems ok.

    Thanks,

Alex makes a very good point. I used to use Proset until I switched to Windows 7. For some reason I can't get Proset to get past the authorization page. Too complicated for me, and windows connects instantly and never dissconnects.
