It's a very quick shot. Less then a second. Hard to catch.

I know it's only about a second that you see it.
The point I was wanting to show is that even a ten year old toughbook is still being used while making a commercial for one of the most advance autos made today.
Now what do you think. Was it just a prop or did it really have a purpose and was it being used?

Wow! I see it now... Leave it to the nerds on here to see that .1 second shot of a CF-28, and even know the mark based on the keyboard... WOW... :p

Meh. To those not yet infected, ToughBooks are like dragons... they all look alike. It was probably a doorstop in someone's closet; when they decided they wanted a ToughBook for the Advert, said someone dragged it out.

I'll bet you a dollar the reason they only show that corner is because it's a Mk1 with the 12" screen; if it had been the 13", they'd have bluescreened in some phony analytics program.

speaking of toughbooks last week I was watching a episode of Jericho and in the safe room there was a good 6 or 7 seconds of what looks like a 29 in safe room.

Rob, its not the keyboard its the handle. The MK1 was the only CF-28 with a black handle. Those of us who used to haunt the flea looking for 28s to update and sell could tell the difference between the MK1 and the MK2 and 3 with just a glance at the gallery photos

LOL I thought it was gonna be something more subtle like corner of the palm rest or a defect in the keyboard!
