This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I would like to add a DVD burner to my CF-30 Mk1. I'm assuming that the Panasonic CF-VDM302U is complete with caddy and would plug right in. The price is a kick in the head though. I would buy a Panasonic UJ-851 or other DVD-RAM drive if a suitable caddy was available. I've seen mods here that may or may not have worked out. What are my options ?
