Did I read somewhere that the cf 29 has open internal USB connections?

If so, I notice the wireless mice have this tiny USB connector.

Ummm yeah, but not like you can plug something into; just channels internally that can be soldered to to hijack them for purposes other than intended. Mostly on the WWAN/GPS sled as I recall; though of course they HAVE to be on the MB somewhere.

Post a full model # and ask nicely; one of the "Keepers of the Manuals" will eMail you the full schematics.

There are several places on the CF-29 motherboard where you can pull a USB from. These normally require a deft hand at microsoldering what you need to the end of a ribbon cable. The schematics show them I believe.... All you need to do is open the schematics and then do an F4 search to find them all.

OK... Deft and soldering are two words that dont work well with me. If I could MIG weld them, Id probably be OK. LOL!!

    Thanks for the help...
