I just thought of something else! Is it best to try to put a antenna on my CF-27, or does it have one built in?
If it doesn't, can I buy a wifi card? If so what kind or size wifi card?

    David,
Here I think you need to check with Gravitar. Some CF-27s came with CDMA modems and had an external antenna mounted on the display. Look in the documents I sent you and you will find a service supplement which shows the antenna set up and how to install it. There are some models which did have an internal slot for a wlan card but I've never actually seen one. Grav has posted that the internal adapter will only work with a Cisco card for some unknown reason. Keep putting CF-27 in your titles and Grav will chime in.

DCSBASS... Are you up to soldering all the stuff you need to do... To do what you need to do... To get to be where you want to be?

This can be a WHOLE lot of fun... Or a WHOLE lot of torment for you....

Where are you in this schematic?

NICE DBASS! That is remarkable to build your own working HAM. With that in mind, I don't think any of the mods that we have talked about on this forum would be out of your league. For me, the soldering was troubling as my experience in that is lacking but I solicited help here from other users. You will find just about anyone here willing to do whatever to help anyone progress their mods.

Thanks for Kind words. People have helped a bunch already. I just still would like to know for sure what It has, or that I have to add.
    Thank You David C SR.
