Or is it time to change it out...? It works, but I have to run the pointer speed full blast to get it to move somewhat decent. It's rather lagging compared to new notebooks touchpads.
It's seen it's share of abuse and the top grayish film seems to be detached from the surface underneath it. I have no way of knowing if that's some water proof design or if it's the cause of the lackluster performance. So wut u guys think?

These are designed to be used outdoors , with gloves,etc
They are not as responsive as other brands

They are not easy to change , as the palmrest has to be removed and re-glued to replace it -

i found it somewhere in the thread. The touchscreen behaves kind of jumpy however. It makes scrolling w/my thumbnail a hassle.
Is the touchpad on cf-29's pretty horrible?
