This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Is there an emergency BIOS recovery procedure with CF-18?

    I know with most HP business laptops, if the unthinkable happens and the BIOS gets corrupted from a bad flash etc. You can put a certain bunch of files on a USB stick/USB floppy and the laptop will look for and recover the BIOS from those files while it sitting there not booting.

    Later HP laptops have 2 copies of the BIOS stored onboard, in addition to the recovery procedure.

    So is there something similar for the CF-18 or other toughbooks?
