Thanks! I see from the Release Notes that this covers the Intel 800 Series Chipsets.

This chipset is in the CF-18 mk1, but unfortunately, Intel's Driver Update Utility is out-of-sync with what actually works. Even today, when I go to Intel's Driver Detection webpage while running under Windows 7, it has shown me that the chipset driver is outdated, but the driver link provided is to an XP-based version in the version 6.* series that won't install under Windows 7.

This download does indeed updated Intel 800 Series Chipsets as the Release Notes state, and when I went back to the Intel Driver Detection webpage after running this chipset driver update, it now shows my chipset version as 9.2.0.1025.

So, again, thank you. Looks like it will be time to update the CF-18/Windows 7 install instructions soon. ;-)

Usually the chipset driver needs to be installed first, so I suppose I may also see a reinstall in my future....

Would this apply to the CF-C1?
