    The only mod I can think of is ho to install it internally... But if you are going to that trouble... There are much better GPS engines...

    Lock on time is VERY important for a lot of people. Especially first responders! I'm a big fan of "grab and go!" But I guess the USB GPS' can have certain advantages... Especially in planes.

    Good choice for an external unit
    I like the Holux models as well
    But they all have the best SiRF Star III chipset
