    I just received a CF-29N3LCZBM.

I installed a 750gb SATA hard drive with an adapter and loaded up XP and the CF-29 drivers.

My devicemanager shows one yellow icon but doesnt say what it is for.

Any ideas ? I didn't load the GPS driver cuz not sure it has one.

    thanks

    O.K. Mark 5 ---non-touch---no GPS. Distracted as I'm setting up a 74J and it's almost done.

Go into control panel, device manager and the yellow tick file. Open properties with a right click and Google or whatever the line that says something like pci ven etc. It's a long string found....this is all memory here...in driver details or something.

    Gotta go.

    Good luck.

    Jeff

EDIT O.K. it's [device manager] [yellow tick thing] [right click] [properties] [details]

Is your bluetooth working? Somewhere in here (Shawn knows) there is a bit where SP3 cures bluetooth ills. I have never bothered with using aftermarket bluetooth drivers but many do. End EDIT.

OK, got it working. Turned out to be a HotKey driver. Didn't know hotkeys needed a driver, figured that was a software thing.

Bluetooth looks to be working, haven't tried it yet.

    I do have SP3 installed.

    thanks for the replies.

PS: Anyone know where a HDD door and latch can be found ?

My door wants to pop open from time to time.

    thanks

The problem might not be the door/latch but the caddy...I had a 29 in last summer with the same problem but it had a cheap non oem caddy in it that was just a little longer and was putting a little extra pressure on the 2 door bumpers that keep the caddy from moving around and with that extra pressure it would pop it open

Check the screws that hold the hinges to the door, and to the base. If they are too long, it will give you problems closing the door.

The door seems to close without much resistance.

I'll have to inspect it for wear and see what I find.
