Just got the deal of the century on Cf-19!

Long time lurker first time poster here. I just need to share my excitement!

People, look at your local classifieds, the best deals are there.

Just picked up a CF19 for 700$CDN = around 550$US locally. I cant believe I got such a great deal. I'm so happy since I was disappointed with the Australian Cf18 that I got for about the same price...

I also have a question, the toughbook has a verizon badge on top, is it possible to replace it with a toughbook badge and does Heartland sell them?

Also, this version of the cf19 has "wings" on the side, is it possible to replace them with the regular sized side panels?

The badge is replaceable and you can get them from heartland. The "wings" are antenna covers and yes you can replace them with the standard covers but if you plan on using the WWAN (verizon this one has) then you must leave the larger antenna covers on there for better reception.

Great deal on the laptop tho. Just be careful as a lot of the verizon logo laptops are stolen from the verizon workers and then sold. If the laptop is reported as stolen from verizon etc then it will be listed as stolen at the repair facilities and if it is sent in or they find out who has it they will keep it or ask for it back. Not trying to sound like i agree with stolen stuff but if you buy it and then give out the serial to someone and it is stolen they will take it and you are out the money you spent on it and good luck trying to get that back from who you bought it from.
