I was just going through some old emails that I stumbled upon from Feb 20th of 2009. I remember this now (had previously forgotten).

Just want to take a moment of silence for Kevin (Gravitar) who passed away in February of 2009. He was a great guy and had a garage full of Toughbooks and other electronic junk like most of us on here have. Lets just remember how fortunate we are to have healthy lives :)

    Thanks

Yes , he will always be remembered on this forum . Anyone that has searched for CF-27 and 28 threads on here most likely has seen his posting. He was a stand up guy and always willing to help anyone . May he be in a better place now...rest in peace Gravitar

Yep, Kevin was a good guy, I wasn't on here long before he sadly passed but was always helpful. Having spent the last two years with my wife having pretty bad ill health, it brings so many things into perspective and Health is number 1.

A moments silence being observed by me now.

Kevin was a good guy; he was one of the first members of the forum and always willing to help with advice and any parts he could provide. He set a very good example; unfortunately, I came along very soon after... ;)

Yup... I run across old posts of his all the time. I still have a few things that I bought from him or that we traded still wrapped up in my shop. I stumble across them from time to time and think about him. He was always willing to help! He did a great job in starting this particular forum out to what it is today! ;)

    RIP Kevin
