    Hi Domlaco,

You need to load panasionc's software keyboard for that buttion to work.
The file is meiskb_18_4_d050593 it the one you need to download from panasionc's web site

    Domlaco,

What is the model of your CF-18xxxxxxxx.

well on a mk4 version of cf-18 there are 4 hotkey file to be installed. If your are missing one it could be stopping the keyboard key from working

    the 4 file are

    hkeyapp
    hkeypluse
    hkeyset
    hotkey

These are all need to be loaded to make all buttons work

    Domlaco,

What is the licanec key on the bottom of your cf-18. Is it for xp pro or is if for XP Tablet PC. If it is XP Pro I would load that on if I was you.

The unknow device has to be the hot key plus.

I found sometime I have to make windows take the drivers on any pc or laptop and most of the time I am right as some time the driver is made widows xp with sp2 and not sp3 and maybe with no service packs.

    peewee3ie,
thanks again for your help..i finaly found a XP Tablet pc version, and instaled it on the cf-18, now all is ok...as i told you, when you are using XP tablet pc ( with a digitizer model), there is no hotkeyplus driver, the name of the good driver is meitbn...now all is ok!
just a precision: it is absolutely impossible to have the buttons working with a CF-18 ( digitizer model), i f you are using XP Pro...you must use Xp tablet pc or it won't work.
I'll offer a french Champagne bootle to anyone who could do it :))
    thanks ,
    domlaco
