OK, I didn't think I needed a water resistant notebook, but... I left my CF72 on my truck seat with a completely dead battery, and it slid down in it's side next to the passenger door. Several days later, I go to get it, and realize I had left the truck window partly open during a t-storm. I think "no problem, I'll just shake it off and go to work", Nope! The poor thing is dead now. It must have had enough of a charge to corrode something somewhere, but I can't find it. Any ideas?

    I sure wish I could afford a decent cf29!

The cf-72 is not really as fully rugged as 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 17,18, m34 and 19 the port cover may not be fully closed or sealed enough from moist or from water thats why it happened. If I were you, I'll get a cf-28 its cheap now for less than $200 you have a complete working unit.
