I like the new ledco's in the link that you provided

They look better than the original model and breakout box in this thread

The question is how important is cost and look's to you

I can sell you a used ledco for $100 + shipping , I think I have 1 somewhere, and if I do I would like it to go away

My corporate customers have deep pockets and $600 or so for a new Gamber-Johnson if it looks good is not a problem for them

My question to you is, are you rich :D
How much does a Locomotive Driver make

Dear Members, not sure if this is the right area to post but I was looking for some info on 2 BRAND NEW LEDCO Breakout Boxes we had for auction on ebay but we wanted to add more info than a generic listing. Then I ran across this forum with MYSTERY MACHINE project which has the exact boxes we are trying to re-list, so my question is would anyone be interested in buying these 2 boxes (just what is pictured is what we are selling)? both are brand new in the boxes with the bracket. Please let us know our ebay seller's name is PCSTATEWIDE and we can start a relist so you can bid or buy from our ebay account (more security). Thank you for any input you all can offer

By the time you wire it all in , you could have a mile of wires running to the trunk!

I had a really helpful replace back from Ledco when I asked them about ideas for CF28 mounting in my RHD Saab 900.... Just need to fund the docking station. Someone has some quite new ones available which are genuine article and not copies.

    Craig,
That's why I like LEDco. That kind of customer service is almost non-existant for original purchasers never mind 2nd or 3rd hand owners.

I read through the entire thread, and didn't see this posted before, so I'll post it now. As far as external "monitors" that are in-dash, you can get a USB-to-VGA converter cable, which will give you either:

    2x identical screens
    2x separate screens

I personally have an in-dash video unit that connects this way. Using the two USB slots on my breakout box, I have touchscreen controls as well.

This is an example of the converter cable I'm using.

Granted, I'm not using this cable for gaming or anything, but it's nice to have for simple manipulation.
