Well yes, plus $34.95 shipping :D, they can be found on eCrater here.

We have purchased a total of 19 so far, 1 at the regular price, then 3 shipments of 6 each afterwards for $180 total out the door per shipment. That brings the price down to $30 each (not so bad, eh?).

My question is, since this guy selling them claims that LEDco made over 50 different models of this docking station (and I believe this to be true after tearing apart 13 of the 19 we bought so far), can anyone out there point me in the right direction for the port replicator USB wiring on the attached schematic?

It appears that most of the docks are using USB 1.0 which is fine for GPS, however for our techs that are traveling the country and attaching pictures and then syncing them to our home server via a USB MiFi on the road, 1.0 is just tooooo slow. And so I would like to hardwire a USB DigiHub into 5 of these units. Only thing is, my knowledge of USB ends at the colors of the wires that you can see when building a desktop (black, white, red, & green).

Can anyone tell me what numbers are for what color? I think I can take it from there :)

I can get one local for FREE... I bought a CF-29 parts machine from a local guy and he said that if I drive over I can pick up the dock for free...

Maybe I should do it? It's 1 hour drive each way - so 2 hours total time in the vehicle at 14mpg...

What would the difference be between a Ledco dock for a CF-29 and CF-30?

Thanks for the reply TC. I ordered one of the Ledco 9.99 specials and wasn't sure if I could use the break-out box(power supply issues) with my CF-29 only or also with my CF-30.

    Hi!

I have a dock for the CF-29 and the breakout box. There are three power
wires from the dock, red, black and blue. What's the blue for?

As far as the breakout box goes, is it powered by the dock? or is a
separate 12v supply necessary? I notice a 12 IN standard connector on
the breakout box. Also, is the USB fed from the main cable? because
there is a USB IN port, so that's confusing, especially since the USB
connector on the toughbook is inaccesible when in the dock.

    Thanks for your help!!

Does anyone know what the BLUE wire is for?

I'm assuming it's another hot, because I get the power LED on the dock, but no charging.

Also, I'm now assuming the breakout box get's its power from elsewhere, as it would just be too easy to feed it all from one place. :/

Anyone have any gems of wisdom?
