that seems cool. I wonder how thin it is, and how it changes the feel of the keyboard, and the visibility of the markings on the keys.
I see they have versions for almost all TBs, and other brands too.

Please post here your experience, should you decide to buy it.

    thanks.

they also have KB covers for CF-19, CF-30, etc. I think they could be useful, to keep the KB clean (between keys, under the keys, the keys themselves).
They even have one for the backlit version of the KB for the CF-19.

After I bought my ~7k hrs CF30, and had removed the KB to install the backlit one, it had lots of dust, dirt, under it, and between the keys.
Of course, it never got to the inside of the laptop (as I saw, when I opened the metal screwed on covers, underneath).

It's even handier for CF-C1, because of its white KB, and space around/under the keys.

Ummmm... yeah. With a CF-30, you just run it under the sink faucet & let it drip dry...

Hmm, I've been wondering at that, but I'm still afraid of cleaning it under the tap. But I'm not that sure about the backlit keyboard (non rubber).

The big secret is to let it fully dry before you plug it back in.

I remember Rab swearing about his backlit that wasn't waterproof. But drying it would be the solution then? Still scary.

I think it was (also) BarrMaley who got his new CF-19 emissive KB wet, and after a few days it was dead (the kb).

I bought my emissive KB 'used' (from TT or Amreid here) and I'm not 100% sure it would work with no issues after a shower. It should, but it wasn't really cheap, either.

@mnementh: i think that running water over the CF-30's keyboard, would just push some of the dirt under the KB, even further, and would create some muddy stuff in there.

Let the entire laptop set without any power until it dries completely. No battery or mains..

All the full rugged family are rated for USE in the rain. Not fog, or mist or drizzle... RAIN.
