Bad news! Something blew out internally on my Lind PA1630-759 LH Input 11-16 Vdc 8 amp max Output 16 Vdc 3.0 A. Used a PA1555-655 LN Input 12-16 Vdc 10 Amp Max Output 15 Vdc 5.5A. What, if any, would be a problem here if it worked fine? Thanks all....

On the 759 or the 655? The cig adapter on both just has a metal "plug" in them. The 655 has the fuse on the brick whereas the 759 does not, thus why I think it got boned......

The PA1630 does not have a fuse in the brick, Lind says it has one so it must be in the DC plug. The PA1555 has an ATO blade type fuse between the two cable sockets on the brick itself and maybe one in the DC plug as well. Of course, given where we get these, yours may not have the original dc cable.

Both of the DC in cables are identical with a metal plug, similar to the fuse that should be there. My gues then, is that the blade fused adapter used the plug instead of a fuse, and the 1630 got fried because it had no fuse, either in the adapted or on the brick. Will the 1555 be ok to continue using, or should I not use it and get another 1630? i DO HAVE ANOTHER 1630, BUT IT IS BEING USED ON MY cfvdw07, but, I do have a PDRC Series for that if I have to swap out..... so many issues last night!!!!!

Okay..... Big question... Solved the problem with the cables, anything with a fuse on the power adapter has a metal "plug", which replaces the fuse in the cigarette lighter adapter...... Anything that does not have a fuse on the power adapter, should have a fuse in the cigarette adapter! If you have Lind adapters, CHECK THEM NOW!!!! FUSE ON THE BRICK, PLUG IN THE CIG ADAPTER!!!! NO FUSE ON THE BRICK, FUSE IN THE CIG ADAPTER!!!! Last question, VOLTAGE.... Will any of the aforementioned adapters work with my 18 and 19? Thanks!!!! :)

Both will although the PA1555 came with both the old style MP205 (CF-28 etc) cable and the new style 2.5 x 5.5 mm Right Angle cable.
